First and Second Grade News!

November 21st, 2014

Dear Families,

Brrrr!  The chill is in the air.  Students are charting the dropping temperature although we hear it’s going back up this weekend.  We made weather instruments today and the students will record the weather using the tools they made.  We will be wrapping up our weather unit next week.

First and Second graders are getting excited about the upcoming holiday. We will be together on Tuesday for ECO with both first and second grade classes giving thanks outdoors by the bonfire.  Please let us know if you’d like to join us for this gathering.  We will begin at 11:30 and break at 12:30 for lunch inside and then head back outside until 3pm. Hope you can make it!

·         Look for math game homework this weekend.  Directions are included but students are familiar with this game.
·         Please help your child remember book bags on Monday
·         SNOW GEAR is necessary everyday now
·         Please remind your child to bring in shoes or sneakers.
·         No school 11/26 – 11/28

Have a great weekend and a peaceful holiday!

Sincerely,
Lisa and Randilee
