A note about how homework packets are graded
When homework packets are returned they will have two scores at the top of the cover page.  One score is for the reading log that was kept for the month and the other score is for the homework packet in its entirety.  The scoring will be done in the range 1-4. Scores are as follows:  1 = Does not meet expectations; 2 = Progressing toward meeting expectations; 3 = Meets expectations; 4 = consistently exceeds expectations.  Students should be reading in a variety of ways and to earn a 4 on their reading log will have to read more than the expected number of times on the cover sheet of the packet and will need to read in a variety of ways for the month.  If you have any other questions please let me know!
Have a Great Week!
